Global Carnival! Nottingham Global Roots Festival 2021

After carefully planning our festival project for this year, fully taking into consideration the situation with Covid-19, we can now announce that we have very kindly been awarded further funding to develop our community festival events into 2021.

A big thank you to Arts Council England for supporting Nottingham Global Roots Festival project for a second year! The project is to be delivered alongside Cultural Vibrations, based in Nottingham.

Thanks to this support, we will be able to provide three online celebration events, showcasing international, national and local acts. Our final event will take place later on in the year, in September. Following the government’s ‘roadmap’ out of national lockdown, we are hopeful that plans for large events can go ahead.

We’ll begin to reveal our line-up and exciting venue over the coming months!
