Tootie Fruitie - a smoothie symphony! A new award from Arts Council England

Our new musical theatre production, Tootie Fruitie - a smoothie symphony, has been awarded funding support from Arts Council England. We are absolutely thrilled to be offered the opportunity to once again develop an engaging, stimulating and original creation for young children and their families.

Thanks to this support, we can now enter a creation and production phase, where our core team of artists will spend an extended amount of time developing the narrative and staging of the piece. Once this phase is complete, we’ll be heading off to a selection of local festivals, with a grande finale double performance weekend at Shambala Festival during August Bank Holiday weekend!

The final phase of our project will take us into a tour of schools in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, including a selection of special education schools. Tootie Fruitie - a smoothie symphony is an inclusive musical theatre piece, focusing on environmental themes and diversity.

This project will begin in February 2023 and will conclude in February 2024.
